How I Work
Research indicates that the most important aspect of therapy is the quality of the relationship between client and therapist. As a Transactional Analysis (TA) practitioner, I work relationally, which means that our relationship is at the heart of the work. With you as the expert, we can work together to explore what your experiences mean for you. Working this way also provides an equal framework, where I will offer compassionate and honest feedback, and you are encouraged to tell me if this sits right with you.
Whatever has brought you to therapy, it is my aim to ensure that you feel seen, heard, and supported. Dedicated to providing an inclusive and safe practice, I look forward to working with clients coming from all walks of life.
Providing a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential space, both in person and online, I offer weekly sessions that are 50 minutes long for both short term and ongoing therapy. The initial session is a time to connect and consider if we are a good fit and to ensure that you find the sessions beneficial. If we decide to continue, we will work through a therapeutic contract in which to decide upon how and when we will work together going forward.
I am a psychotherapist in advanced training at the Metanoia Institute, hold certificates in Counselling Therapeutic Skills and Studies, Adult Bereavement Support and Relational Couples Counselling and I am working towards my qualification as a Certified Transactional Analyst. I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
